Our Team

Our main goal is to help you be more like Christ. We strive in our education goals, our worship goals, our outreach goals to model Christ's intensity for truth and honesty.
We are a praying, believing group of people. We commit to daily prayer and Bible study to be accurate in our teaching and loving in our approach. Jesus didn't sacrifice accuracy for love. He stood for truth, while at the same time strove to not condemn the broken. He did condemn the unbroken, though. He said "if you were blind, you could see, but since you say you see, you remain blind." It is our goal to acknowledge our blindness and our need to see through His eyes.

Ministry Services

We seek to impact our area for Christ, and we strive to serve our community.
Life Tabernacle is a hub for many ministries that impact our local community. We have spiritual counseling services that impact marriages and give direction for lives that are at times directionless.

We serve youth, children, young couples, mid-life singles and couples, and the elderly. Each has unique needs and perspectives that God uses to impact the world around them. We seek to strengthen each of these times of Life so that each can better reflect Christ into their respective worlds.

Historical profile.

Life Tabernacle Church was established in 1964.
Roger & Doris Feiler came to Elkhart in 1964 to start a church. It has existed in three locations since it's founding, on the West side of town, on North Second Street, and at it's current location at 1135 Middlebury St. on the near Eastern side of downtown Elkhart, Indiana.

We currently have purchased property for our next adventure at the corner of CR13 and CR 26 on the south side of Elkhart. It is a prime location for the future growth that we believe God is giving us.

We are currently in the fundraising phase of our building campaign and we look forward to seeing the continued miracles in peoples lives who have committed to giving to see the church move forward into future soul winning and outreach.

We have a variety of ministries that seek to impact the community in which we live. We have an active county prison ministry with several chaplains ministering weekly in the local jail. We have an outreach to the inner city areas of Elkhart that brings children into our One Way Club on Wednesday nights for a free meal and a fun filled opportunity to hear the good news of God's great love.

Life Achievement Services, a non-profit para-church ministry serving teens and young adults in the Elkhart area i abased out of our facility. We serve dozens of teen a week with job skills, life skills, and money management training using Christ centered principles.
